Jeff Denton - ASE Certified Master Technician

Jeff Denton is a seasoned technician who is Master ASE certified and has been with Integrity since June of 2011. It was long before then, though, that Jeff's story really begins.

Born in the Ballard Hospital Jeff became an instant Washington native, something he has always been proud of. He lived his entire childhood near downtown Kirkland with his folks, an older sister and two younger brothers. "Kirkland was such a fun town to grow up in and so much different than today's city" proclaims Denton.

Jeff attended Lake Washington Vocational Training in its very first Automotive Mechanics course and graduated two years later, ready to take on the automobile as a career. His first real gig as a mechanic was at "Eastside Chrysler Products" in downtown Snoqualmie. A small family owned shop in an old building (no longer there) with lots of character. It was there that Jeff's apprenticeship and foundation of straight-forward and honest auto repair started thanks to a couple of great mentors.

That store closed during Chrysler's uncertain financial woes in the early 1980's so Jeff went to work for Len's Automotive in Bellevue. After several years at Len's, Jeff moved to "Eastside AMC Jeep Renault" on Bellevue's Auto Row. Throughout Jeff's 25 years there the name changed several times, the products came and went, coworkers came and went (one by the name of Nate Bean) but in Jeff's head one thing stayed the same - "Fix it right the first time." Something Jeff continues to strive to do with every repair he makes to this day.

Jeff's life away from work is pretty boring because it's so hard to make a good living fixing cars anymore. So he just sits on the couch and watches NASCAR races with his sweetheart Anita.

Jeff has always loved gardening and home and garden projects. In the 8 years he has lived in his home in Sammamish he has transformed his large private yard from a blank slate to a beautiful retreat. A place where he and his sweetheart, Anita, enjoy free time relaxing. And on nice summer weekend evenings you will find the couple relaxing and watching that day's NASCAR race on their patio TV.

Jeff became a huge fan of NASCAR the year Bill Elliott won The Winston Million. Since then, he has followed the sport closely as a true fan and has traveled to several major events. Currently, Jeff will TiVo up to three races a weekend andfollow the NASCAR news daily. Denton never argues with those that criticize NASCAR for being a round and round in circle boring event because he knows they don't have a clue how complex and what a highly engineered sport it truly is.

Another passion of Denton's is travel. Having been to Europe several times he would love to go back and share the sights and cultures with Anita.

In 2008 the privately owned dealer in Bellevue where Jeff spent so many years was swallowed up by AutoNation. So early 2010 Jeff connected once again with his old friend Nate and the rest is history.
