Our History

Integrity Automotive began with a simple belief—our belief that there is a better way to run an Automotive shop. Founder Nate Bean spent many long years learning his craft. Nate earned a degree in Automotive Mechanics at Lake Washington Vocational Technical College, and started his first job in the industry, as a service station technician, in 1985. By 1988 he earned the distinction of Certified Technician from the National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence (ASE), and in 1991 obtained the ASE Master Technician Certification. During this time, Nate developed his dream of opening a different type of business, one that values customer relationships and thoroughly understands the intangibles that matter to you—reliability, safety, peace of mind, trustworthiness and convenience.

One thing will always remain the same—our mission at Integrity Automotive is to make getting your vehicle serviced or repaired a more pleasant and less confusing experience.

Integrity Automotive opened our Issaquah Service Center in 1998 with two employees, Nate and his wife Susan. After just six weeks of operations they hired another technician, and the business has been growing ever since. In August, 2002 the expanded Issaquah Service Center opened on 221st Place SE in the heart of Issaquah. Integrity now has 10 full-time employees, we have serviced more than 40,000 vehicles, and our 6 ASE certified technicians have an average of 24 years’ experience.
